BELFAST HERE WE COME!!!

NAKED Record Club was launched from the South of France by 2 music loving Brits. France proved to be a great launchpad due to its close proximity to Europe's sustainable vinyl innovators, but now it's time for a very exciting change.

NAKED is heading back to the UK but instead of returning to England we are heading to the Northern Ireland capital of Belfast a vibrant and thriving City which has shaken off its troubled past, become a cultural and tourist hot spot and is rapidly emerging as a World leader in enviromental sustainability. And as a full trade member of both the UK and EU it's the perfect base for NAKED to support ALL our global customers from.

And of course, most importantly, music is engraved deep in the soul of the Irish people. In fact it's difficult to have a conversation in Ireland without music looming large. Even NAKED's new bank manager has spent more time talking about his band and guitar collection than NAKED's finances! 

Northern Ireland is best known for punk rock powerhouses Stiff Little Fingers and The Undertones and that proud heritage continues today.  NAKED's founder Simon Parker says: "Over the past year whilst discovering the vibrant indie music scene that Belfast is proudly presenting through great venues such as The Oh Yeah centre. It didn’t escape my attention that Belfast was recently crowned pub capital of the UK so I know I’m in for many great nights out! The punk pop vibe is in full effect right now, very different to the experimental vibe emanating from Dublin. I already love Strange New Places, Cherym and Problem Patterns but I’m sure there will be many more artists to fall in love with once NAKED hits the streets of Belfast. I’ve been a huge fan of Ash since their early releases and hope to be able to meet up with them. Their Ad Astra album from 2025 is fantastic! And I also look forward to connecting with Neil Hannon and Cathy Davey, two of my favourite Irish artists of many years standing".  I hope to reactivate my radio show and will be launching a podcast in the next few months too - there is always such a lot of great indie music to share! We've got some big surprises up our sleeve and who knows I may even put a new band together… Can’t wait to hit the ground running!" 

France gave NAKED a great start but even better times are ahead - watch this space!
